Final presentations Drawing Inventions Academy

On the 26th of April the participants of the 2022-2023 Drawing Inventions Academy got a chance to present our work to Arno Kramer, Caren from Herwaarden and Marisa Rappard and each other. It was a pleasure to see the impressive results of the other participants and receive their feedback.

Below a few pictures that give an impression of some of the work we looked at. From top left to bottom right: Dick van Dijk, Egbert Brink, Anne-marie Joosten, Sophie Mastenbroek and a partial view of my own installation.

The picture below shows an overview of my presentation. Happy with the result of using the photography backdrop stand to present large drawings in a more spatial way. I chose to show combine works that were in the exhibition Our Roots Are Dark with a sneak peak into the series I am currently in the midst of creating.
